WHO WE ARE
We are a congregation of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Our congregation was founded here on Transou Road in Pfafftown in 1865.
Our mission continues to guide our life and work here at PCC and in our community as we seek to be and to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. We are the church where faith and reason come together. As a part of Christ's great Church, we are on a faith journey together.
Here at Pfafftown Christian Church, we are trying to live out God's call to love and to serve, and we invite you to share that journey of faith and service with us.
Mission & Vision
Our Mission is to be and to share the Good news of Jesus Christ.
Our Vision is to be a faithful, growing church that demonstrates true community, faithful stewardship, deep Christian spirituality.
Campus
Our founders blessed us with a beautiful campus, with our buildings surrounded by God's majestic trees.
Parking for visitors and those who are handicapped is located directly in front. Other parking is located on the north side and at the rear of our facilities.
Our buildings provide excellent spaces for the varied program of the congregation. Our former sanctuary is now our Upper Fellowship Hall, where we host many activities, including dramas, feasts, and parties.
Our classrooms are inviting places to study and interact with others seeking a closer walk with God.
Our Downstairs Fellowship Hall is the location of comfortable congregational meals, with laughter and fellowship always the order of the day!
Our picnic shelter is the site of many of our outdoor activities, including our Memorial Day Picnic and our Trunk or Treat celebration.
Our community garden occupies an acre on the south slope of the site. It has areas for individual neighborhood gardeners, as well as a large area dedicated to growing food for those in need. In the 2011 season, we gathered over 2 tons of produce from the garden, with more than 2,600 pounds donated to the Second Harvest Food Bank and over 1,400 pounds going to gardeners and others in our community.
